  • Responsibilities
    1. Collect, prepare, store and/or transport specimens using correct techniques, anticoagulants and protocol while adhering to Service Excellence standards of Courtesy, Privacy, Respect, Dignity and Responsiveness/Customer Waiting.
    2. Organize and perform analysis of specimens to include quality control while evaluating validity of results obtained.
    3. Follow all safety procedures and protocols.
    4. Perform routine and pre-routine maintenance.
    5. Train and document proficiency of assigned employees/students as directed by supervisor.
    6. Receive incoming phone calls, document incoming request for blood to be drawn and follow through on collection as outlined in SES, telephone Communication, Personal Ownership, and Service Recovery.
    7. Assist in maintaining supplies.
    8. Coordinate daily technical activities and assure tests are complete and accurate in a timely manner by reviewing worksheets, pending logs, and uncollected lists.
    9. Completes Annual Training requirements and develop personal knowledge of trends, developments and techniques through journals and trade publications, in-service programs, and continuing education.

    LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATIONS/EDUCATION:

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Medical; Technology, or appropriate science, from an accredited school
    • Certification by recognized national certifying agency.

    The Interior Superintendent will be the point person for all field production related issues that fall within the project boundaries and/or limits as described in the contract documents. Primary focus is on detailed production planning, scheduling and integration with the Trade Partner field leadership.
