SUMMARY

Civil Engineer responsible for design and management of municipal projects including roadway, water, sewer and drainage. The candidate will perform a variety of engineering tasks using programs and procedures of consulting engineering to design projects for regional cities, counties, TIRZ’s and special districts. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform design calculations and prepare engineering reports and PS&E
• Assist the Project Manager with development and implementation of project work flow and permitting
• Coordinate with surveyor, geotechnical, environmental, public and private utility companies, CAD designer, and other consultants
• Train EIT’s and entry level staff on design and development of projects

REQUIREMENTS

• 4-8 years of experience with municipal projects
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Strong computer skills in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Proven experience in handling multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and internal staff
• Bachelor of Science Degree, Civil Engineering or similar degree
• Registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of Texas
