KitConnect is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join a team developing our, a cloud-connected Design Management Solution for the AEC Market. This individual will support development of our Revit Plugin, and evolve the system to deeply integrate with Autodesk Software and Services. Job Responsibilities
- Work as a core member of a development team building cloud-connected Project Frog desktop applications working to create reliable, secure, performant and scalable software for our customers and partners.
- Work closely with key stakeholders and partners, including BIM experts, virtual design & construction managers, architects and structural engineers to define product requirements and system logic.
- Research and development using Autodesk Revit and Forge APIs
- Research and incorporate latest features of C#, .NET and WPF to our applications
- Plan, design and develop high quality .NET desktop applications
- Develop, maintain and enhance .NET applications using VS, C#, WPF, WCF, and Unit Tests.
- Participate in design sessions and code reviews
- Work with an off-shore software engineering team
- Adhere to an Agile approach for software development to iteratively deliver working software on short release cycles
Specific Skills and Experience Requirements
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience
- Experience with Autodesk Forge APIs strongly desired
- Experience developing with 3D CAD/BIM/modelling APIs strongly desired (Revit, Solidworks, Inventor, etc.)
- Specific experience with building Revit Plugin’s required
- Broad and deep knowledge of relevant technologies utilized today, including Windows Operating system, C#
- Strong computer science fundamentals and a demonstrated strong problem solving techniques
- Desktop application development experience with C# .NET, WPF.
- Experience in UI/UX and real-time development is a plus
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Familiarity with multi-threaded programming paradigms
- Experience with object-oriented design and programming with functional tendencies
- Unit and automated testing (test driven development experience a plus)
- Windows services and DLL development
- WCF experience is a plus
- Experience working on agile software projects with short release cycles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present and discuss technical strategies, architectures and designs clearly and concisely
