D.P. Dough Amherst is hiring experienced and dependable Kitchen and Cashier Team Members, with management and leadership opportunities available for qualified applicants.

Part-time positions are also available and are a great fit for college and high school students looking for flexible work experience.

Our full-time positions are ideal for applicants seeking steady hours, consistent employment, and the opportunity to grow with an established restaurant brand. Full-time applicants must have at least two years of experience in the same or a similar restaurant, kitchen, cashier, or food-service position.

Experienced candidates who demonstrate strong leadership, dependability, and restaurant knowledge may be considered for Shift Leader or Management positions.

Responsibilities

Prepare fresh, high-quality food according to D.P. Dough recipes

Take customer orders and accurately operate the POS system

Make dough, prepare ingredients, assemble orders, and operate ovens

Stock, date, rotate, and record inventory

Maintain clean and organized workstations

Follow opening, closing, sanitation, and food-safety procedures

Provide friendly and efficient customer service

Support the team during busy, high-volume shifts

Management Responsibilities May Include

Supervising and supporting team members during shifts

Assigning tasks and maintaining efficient restaurant operations

Ensuring food quality, order accuracy, and excellent customer service

Overseeing opening and closing procedures

Training and coaching new employees

Handling customer concerns professionally

Promoting accountability, teamwork, and a positive workplace

Requirements

Minimum of two years of relevant restaurant or food-service experience for full-time applicants

Full-time availability

Late-night and weekend availability is required

Reliable transportation

Ability to stand for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Willingness to complete the D.P. Dough training program

Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred for management candidates
