    Do you enjoy cooking, staying organized, and being part of a fun, supportive school environment? We are looking for a Kitchen Coordinator to join our preschool team! This role is perfect for someone who loves working behind the scenes to help keep our classrooms running smoothly while supporting the health and happiness of our students.

    Our Kitchen Coordinator plays an important role in our school by managing daily kitchen operations, preparing snacks, and ensuring food is safely served to our classrooms. You’ll also have the opportunity to step into classrooms when needed and be an additional resource for our teachers.

    No Nights or Weekends!!!

    Key Responsibilities:

    Portion and distribute meals to classrooms daily, ensuring appropriate serving sizes for each age group

    Coordinate menu planning in accordance with the school’s nutrition guidelines

    Manage inventory control and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste

    Ensure that all kitchen activities are in compliance with food safety standards and licensing regulations

    Ensure kitchen cleanliness, including regular sanitizing of food prep areas, equipment, and utensils

    Provide assistance in classrooms when needed as an additional set of hands to support teachers and students

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred

    Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred

    Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting

    Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

    Works productively without supervision

    Ability to lift and carry kitchen supplies and stand for extended periods
