Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will travel to customers’ businesses, install new appliances, and diagnose and repair their existing appliances. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and has the technical skills to get the job done. Customer satisfaction is a top priority.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer locations within the 5 borrows of NYC and North Jersey

Respond to client requests for appliance service

Evaluate and diagnose home appliance problems

Estimate the costs of appliance repair, service, and installation

Repair appliances

Provide preventative maintenance and warranty services

Adhere to manufacturer recommendations

Teach homeowners how to operate their appliances

Maintain accurate and detailed records

Provide written (or email) recap summary of service visits

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED

Previous experience as an Appliance Repair Technician is preferred

Light electrical, Light plumbing as related to kitchen equipment repair and installation.

Valid driver’s license

(Preferred but not required) EPA refrigerant recovery certification, NYC Q99 RMO license.

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

Ability to use email and ticketing software as required

Has their own tools

Can get to service call's locations in NYC 5 borrows on their own.

Trustworthy and honest about equipment assessments.

Pay $65/hr
