Job Description

We are seeking a Accountant / Book Keeper - You will be responsible for the effective management and profitable operation of Washington, D.C. for Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley * Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley (Dallas, Chicago, Washington, D.C.) Responsibilities: * Coordinate the approval process for all loans and lines of credit * Oversee the flow of cash and financial investments * Analyze information to assess current and future financial statuses * Review costs for optimal budget planning * Evaluate reporting systems and collection procedures * Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions) * Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting * Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership * Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests * Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems * Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements Qualifications: * Previous experience in financial branch management, financial services, or other related fields * Knowledge of common banking practices * Strong leadership qualities * Ability to work under pressure * Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA a plus * 5-8 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis * Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information * Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners * Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills * Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc. * Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Company Description Kitchen + Kocktails Restaurants by Kevin Kelley (in Dallas, Chicago, and soon Washington D.C.) deliver the best in food, drinks and vibes.
