JJ Goodwin’s is looking for an experienced, dependable Full-Time Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house operations. We are seeking someone who takes pride in running an organized, efficient kitchen while leading a team to consistently deliver great food and excellent service.

Position:

Full-Time

Salary Position (based on experience)

General Responsibilities

Order all food and kitchen supplies

Manage inventory and maintain proper stock levels

Organize food storage, walk-ins, freezers, and dry storage

Control food costs and minimize waste

Create and maintain prep lists

Ensure food quality and consistency

Hire, train, schedule, and manage kitchen staff

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen

Ensure compliance with all health and food safety regulations

Coordinate with ownership on menu items, specials, and purchasing

Work alongside the kitchen team during busy service periods

Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs

Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

Previous kitchen management or sous chef experience preferred

Strong leadership and communication skills

Experience with food ordering and inventory management

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
