The Golden Pineapple is opening soon, and we’re building an energetic, dependable crew to bring great food, great service, and Ohana vibes to our guests every day. We're a fast-casual takeout restaurant specializing in Hawaiian BBQ, Poke, Ramen, Sandwiches and more, and we’re looking for a Kitchen Manager who can run a high-volume kitchen with precision, consistency, and pride. If you’re organized, steady under pressure, and serious about food quality, we want to talk.
Responsibilities
Lead daily BOH operations (prep, line, production, quality control)
Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff
Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health-department compliance
Manage inventory, ordering, vendor communication, and cost control
Maintain portioning, consistency, and efficient ticket times
Oversee equipment care, maintenance, and kitchen cleanliness
Create prep lists, daily checklists, and workflow systems
Collaborate with ownership on specials and menu improvements
Qualifications
3+ years of BOH leadership (fast-casual, takeout and/or high-volume preferred)
Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
Excellent communication and team-leadership skills
ServSafe Manager (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
Able to stand for long periods and lift 40 lbs
