Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Utility Worker to join our culinary team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen and food preparation areas. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Clean and sanitize workspaces, surfaces, and food preparation areas according to food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation and assembling dishes under the supervision of the culinary team.
- Organize and store food supplies and inventory in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Dispose of waste and maintain proper waste management protocols.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down kitchen stations and dining areas when necessary.
- Support other kitchen staff with various tasks to ensure smooth operation.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations in the kitchen.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment or similar role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
- Good communication skills and a teamwork-oriented attitude.
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
- Flexibility in scheduling, with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
