    Kitting Associate – Badge Assembly

    Job Summary

    We are hiring a Kitting Associate to support a warehouse and production team in Jessup, MD. This position is responsible for creating, assembling, organizing, and activating employee badges while ensuring each kit is complete and accurate.

    This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable using a computer, and enjoys hands-on work. The position involves a combination of light assembly, data entry/computer tasks, quality checks, and general warehouse support.

    Job Type: Full-Time
    Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    Pay: $17.50 per hour

    Responsibilities

    • Create and prepare employee identification badges according to established procedures.
    • Activate badges and ensure they are properly configured and ready for use.
    • Assemble badge kits and organize all required materials.
    • Verify names, identification information, and other details for accuracy.
    • Enter and update information using computer systems.
    • Follow step-by-step instructions and established procedures.
    • Inspect completed badges and kits for accuracy and quality.
    • Identify and correct errors or missing information before completing orders.
    • Organize completed kits and prepare them for distribution.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
    • Handle materials and supplies associated with the kitting process.
    • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
    • Assist with other light warehouse and production duties as needed.
    • Follow all company safety, quality, and security procedures.

    Qualifications

    • Previous kitting, assembly, warehouse, production, data entry, or computer-based work is a plus.
    • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software and systems.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
    • Good organizational and time-management skills.
    • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
    • Dependable and reliable with good attendance.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to stand and work for extended periods.
    • Ability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements.
    • Frequent reaching, handling, sorting, and assembling materials.
    • Ability to lift and move light warehouse materials as needed.
