Courier/Transporter
Job Description
The Courier/Transporter position will be responsible for pickup and delivery of mail and prescriptions to Klamath Tribal Health & Family Services, Administration, Youth and Family Guidance Center, Tribal Wellness Clinic, Tribal Administration, local medical/dental providers and patients, in Klamath County. The Courier/Transporter position will include local non-emergency transport for Klamath Tribal members and other federally recognized tribal members to and from medically related appointments on an as needed basis. When serving as a Transporter, the Courier/Transporter will assist clients, as necessary such as transferring clients from a wheelchair into the transport vehicle and back or entering/exiting the transport vehicle.
The general service area is Klamath County. Operation of a KTH&FS GSA vehicle is required and will be in accordance with the policy and procedures of KTH&FS, Oregon State and Federal Transportation Laws. Operation of a Tribal vehicle will be in accordance with KTH&FS policies and procedures, as well as Oregon State and Federal Transportation Laws.
