Roofing Sales Representative, Klausmair Construction
Summary of Position
Klausmair Construction is a successful 29-year-old, multi-million-dollar company with an exceptional reputation in the exterior remodeling industry. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a self-confident and motivated Residential Salesperson with experience in the residential or commercial construction/remodeling fields. As a Roofing Sales Representative, you will use your skills to run new leads, generate leads, maintain existing accounts and develop new clientele. The successful candidate must possess exceptional customer service and communication skills. If you are goal oriented and professional, we are looking for you!
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time
Responsibilities
- Generation of new leads through daily canvassing & networking
- Contact and meet with homeowners to discuss needs
- Perform necessary evaluations to complete accurate cost estimation and prepare proposal
- Present proposal to homeowner and secure contract, which may include several meetings with prospective client
- Have a thorough knowledge of vendor products, pricing and availability
- Coordinate financing of customer payments as needed
- Close calls at a predetermined closing percentage set by Management
- Work closely with other staff to ensure completion of the sale and/or that customer needs are met
- Maintain client list and perform follow up after service
- Be organized, respectful, and honest
- Build relationships and increase company visibility through the participation in company and trade association sponsored activities as required; attend trade shows, chamber of commerce events and other events, as necessary
- Address and resolve customer questions, issues or complaints
Qualifications
- At least two years of selling experience
- Prior experience in construction industry
- Experience with and understanding of all residential roofing standards and practices, as well as code requirements
- Proficiency in general computer use and ability to use smartphone and internet, ability to be trained in use of company-specific applications
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED
Other Skills/Abilities
- Willingness to comfortably walk on roofs and carry and climb a ladder
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Work a flexible schedule
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
