SUMMARY:
Come join a highly skilled and internationally trained sales team with the global leader in specialty lubricants! Our outside sales engineer will cover an established base of 500+ customers in the northeast (New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey) growing existing Klüber Lubrication accounts and developing new prospects throughout various markets in a $1M+ territory.
YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:
· Managing your own accounts, growing an existing territory to a new level, and supporting key clients in the food and beverage, machine tooling, paper and printing, film and plastics, material handling and transport, and rail and aircraft industries.
· Traveling throughout your region—typically on day trips, but there will also be about 5-10 days of overnight travel per month.
· Other duties as assigned.
THIS JOB MIGHT BE FOR YOU IF:
· You have a knack for problem solving.
· You have an engineering degree and possess a sales mentality or if you have sales experience and are technically minded. Experience in lubricants, chemicals, or mechanical equipment sales or key account development is a plus!
· You like to manage your own time, choosing which days to spend traveling around the region to visit customers on site or working on follow up items (call reports, quotes, etc.) in your home office.
· You are the type of person who likes to sell to a variety of markets, is open minded towards unique solutions, and isn’t afraid to walk in a new door or develop brand new relationships.
· You live in or around Scranton, PA, Allentown, PA, Binghamton, NY, or Elmira, NY.
