    Your Role:

    • Provide technical expertise and oversight of information cybersecurity and compliance team within a growing company.
    • Advise and consult with CIO about cybersecurity risks and mitigation plan.
    • Ensure regular cadence of security operations tasks is maintained, including but not limited to:
      • Triage of various security alerts
      • Vulnerability Management processes
      • Endpoint Security Operations
      • Network Security Operations
    • Collaborate with Infrastructure Teams to design and build secure technologies.
    • Recommend, design, build, and deploy new tools and platforms that help automate, streamline, and scale security operations efforts.
    • Collaborate with development teams to advise on application security functions and aim to put security at the forefront of the SDLC process.
    • Stay informed on recent industry trends and developments to be proactive in actions whenever possible.
    • Manage process with vendors and 3rd parties for all cybersecurity technology and Infrastructure contract renewals, additions, and removals.
    • Lead all security audits as well as responses to security questionnaires.
    • Perform regular reviews of security tools, services and training looking for opportunities to improve.
    • Lead any cyber incident response efforts, perform post-incident analysis, and implement any takeaways to improve security posture.
    • Ensure relevant standards, policies, procedures, and the necessary controls are in place to support a secure environment for users and business functions.

    Your Profile:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT-focused field or equivalent experience.
    • 2+ years of managing employees in a managerial role.
    • 3+ years of experience in a security operations role
    • Endpoint Detection and Response
    • Next Generation Firewall Systems
    • Vulnerability Management
    • Email Security Systems
    • Incident Response
    • Possess a positive and proactive attitude towards customer support and a desire to help people.
    • Compose and perform all-staff cybersecurity training materials and events.

    Preferred:

    • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, etc.
    • 5+ years of experience in a security operation and/or engineering role (preferred)
    • Experience working with and securing Cloud technologies (preferred)
    • Scripting and automation experience working with REST APIs
