A multi-generational manufacturing company seeks a Full Charge Bookkeeper to administer all internal accounting functions. Successful candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of Quick Books and Excel. The successful candidate will report directly to the CEO/President and work closely with the Company's independent CPA. Responsibilities: * Full maintenance of general ledger * Bank reconciliations * Payroll reconciliations * Accounts Receivable posting and reconciliations * Accounts Payable posting and reconciliations * Bank Deposits * Interface with the Company's outside payroll service * Obtain primary financial data for accounting records * Compute and record numerical data * Check the accuracy of business transactions * Perform data entry and administrative duties Qualifications: * In-depth Knowledge of Quick Books and Excel * Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields * Fundamental knowledge of GAAP * Ability to prioritize and multitask * Strong organizational skills * Deadline and detail-oriented Company Description Knickerbocker Machine Shop Inc. is the producer of ASP (Alloy Stainless Products) Stainless Steel and Specialty Alloy fittings and specialty piping components for the pharmaceutical industries, chemical process industries, paper and pulp industries, shipbuilding, fossil and nuclear power generation, and original equipment manufacturing
