    MUUTO IS LOOKING FOR A SALES MANAGER FOR THE TORONTO REGION.

    Muuto is a young and successful Scandinavian design company which develops and sells furniture, lighting, and accessories for both residential and contract interiors.

    Muuto is experiencing great growth and we are creating a new position as Regional Sales Manager for the contract market in the Toronto region. The candidate will, together with our Head of Sales, be responsible for implementing our strategy and coordinate local adjustments.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and maintain vibrant market to achieve the sales goal for territory
    • Educate A&D partners on Muuto solutions, culture and design to drive specification of our products
    • Develop and Collaborate with Knoll Sales Organization & Knoll Distribution partners
    • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline by effectively using Salesforce.com

    • 50% Travel activity including international travel to the Muuto headquarters in Copenhagen

    Required Skills

    • Ability to strategize on target accounts, research, cold call, source potential business, follow up on sales inquiries, sell via telephone, digital meeting tools such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams and face to face, conducting one-on-one and group presentations at all levels
    • Ability to act independently and making decisions within company policy
    • In possession of an established client base with strong relations to senior decision makers within the A&D industry
    • Able to demonstrate success and experience with managing key accounts and large projects

    PROFILE

    • Outgoing and sympathetic
    • Self-driven and result oriented
    • Mature, credible, and comfortable in presenting in a professional environment
    • Strong negotiating and closing skills
    • Organized and a very effective time manager
    • Ability to travel away from home and to work extended hours

    Required Experience

    • BA/BS in Interior Design/Marketing/Business preferred
    • Requires three to five years selling experience
    • High School diploma or equivalent required
