    POSITION PROFILE

    The Account Manager - KnollOffice Sales is responsible for the organization of prospective business, projects, day-to-day business for target Vertical Market Accounts. The Account Manager will work with Higher Education, Healthcare & GSA accounts.  The Account Manager partners with the Account Rep to maximize productivity by managing the details of all account activity so that the Account Rep can focus on bringing in new business. He or She is the liaison between the dealerships, the factories and the client.  The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining a strong Knoll presence within existing and new accounts by servicing the client’s needs prior to, during and after each project. The Account Manager is accountable for the maintenance and growth of our internal sales activities.

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • BS/BA degree in Design, Marketing or Business preferred
    • Minimum 2years experience in a Sales Support role
    • Experience in the contract furniture industry strongly preferred
    • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Knowledge of Salesforce a plus
    • ACAD, CAP, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign

     

     

    Required Skills

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Assist client, dealer and/or design team in determining product application and finish specifications 
    • Liaison between factory and client/dealer
    • Provide regular two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations
    • Communicate the client’s goals and represent the client’s interests to the team
    • On Projects participate in kick-off meetings and weekly project/construction meetings
    • Secure lead-time commitments and fabric reserves from factory for projects
    • Assist dealer expedite factory specials
    • Work closely with the project team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project
    • Review critical path of orders and delivery dates and alert team of any issues
    • Ensure that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met and are cost efficient
    • Ensure that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing the Account Rep of any problems that may arise
    • Accountable for execution and/or delegation of all sales requirements including proposal/quotation development, presenting solutions and asking for the business
    • Be able to personally conduct a product and showroom demonstration
    • Assist and maintain a credible forecast for accounts
    • Act as point of contact for bids and mockups and delegate job responsibilities for both
    • Track and confirm credit splits on office and studio orders
