HAIR, MAKEUP ARTIST AND NAIL TECHNICIAN-  OAK BROOK, IL

Part-time (up to 20 hours per week)

Schedule- Flexible Thursday through Sunday

We have a great opportunity for a Nail Technician, Stylist and Makeup Artist at our client site located in Oak Brook, Illinois. In this position, you will be required to have a license through the Illinois State Board of Cosmetology for nail technicians. You will be responsible for specializing in nail grooming including nail cleaning, cutting, and polishing of the fingernails and toenails while observing sanitation and safety practices. Understanding of makeup and hairdressing techniques. You must keep up to date with the latest hair, nail products, techniques and trends.

PERFORMANCE

YOU WILL:

• Performing nail, hand, and foot services while observing sanitation and safety practices.
• Basic and spa manicures and pedicures.
• Nail polish including French polish.
• No chip manicure removal and application.
• Express manicure and pedicure.
• Traditional and wedding make-up.
• Hair - Updo styles, and bridal hair events.

 WHAT'S NEEDED:

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Nail technician license through Illinois State Board of Cosmetology required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Technician must be motivated and be able to work independently as well as with others.
• Possess a professional appearance and a professional attitude.
• Will be required to follow any current or future site COVID-19 vaccination policies including but not limited to proof of vaccination, weekly testing, etc.
