    PATH is a global nonprofit dedicated to achieving health equity. With more than 40 years of experience forging multisector partnerships, and with expertise in science, economics, technology, advocacy, and dozens of other specialties, PATH develops and scales up innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing health challenges.

     

    PATH is currently recruiting a Program Assistant (PA) who will have a role supporting multiple programs including Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition, Health Systems, and Early Childhood Development.

     

     SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

     

     

    • Assist with meeting scheduling and document management.
    • Support business development through opportunity tracking.
    • Support travel and meeting planning and expense management
    • Process Vendor Invoices
    • Assist with Tracking Expenses
    • Support the creation and maintenance of agreements and contracts.
    • Track progress towards workplan deliverables
    • Support document and product creation and editing.
    • Take meeting notes and support coordination with internal and external partners.
    • Assist with communication strategy and content development for websites and blog posts.
    • Other administrative tasks as assigned.

     

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

     

    • Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of work experience in an administrative assistance role in an office setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Demonstrated ability to execute administrative tasks with excellent attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and interface effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Comfortable learning new information systems.
    • Excellent proofreading and editing skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
    • Ability to work with a variety of work styles and personalities.
    • Demonstrated success working effectively while under deadlines.
    • Ability to work in team environment with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to work effectively and with sensitivity across barriers such as language, culture, and distance.
    • Excellent listening skills and empathy.
    • Commitment to PATH’s mission, values, and principles.

    PATH continues to evolve to support our employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, most of PATH’s US based positions are temporarily 100% remote, within commuting distance to our PATH offices. When PATH transitions more broadly to in-person work, we will operate with a hybrid workplace model. Hybrid employees must reside within commuting distance to one of our PATH offices. PATH’s US offices are located in Seattle, WA and Washington, D.C.

     

     

     

     

     

    COVID-19 VACCINE REQUIREMENT

     

     

     

    PATH has instituted a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for all employees, interns, consultants, and temporary staff based in the United States. Individuals selected for job opportunities in the United States must be fully vaccinated, and show proof of vaccination status, upon hire. Individuals are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as Pfizer or Moderna, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson. Individuals with medical issues or sincerely held religious beliefs that prevent them from getting the vaccine may request an exemption from the vaccine requirement.
