We are seeking a talented, FULL-TIME, (TEMPORARY TO POSSIBLE PERMANENT), CERTIFIED ATHLETIC TRAINER at our client site in BATH, MAINE! In this position, you will support the creation and implementation of programs focused on the prevention of work injuries, physical conditioning, and employee education and wellness.

     

    _SCHEDULE: MONDAY-FRIDAY, PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME HOURS AVAILABLE, TEMPORARY TO POSSIBLE PERMANENT POSITION _

     

    YOUR IMPACT WITHIN THIS TEAM:                

    • Conducts employee injury prevention programs, education and training.
    • Develops exercise programs specific to injury prevention and conditioning needs.
    • Collects and document appropriate program data to support the ROI process.
    • Develop, promote and market wellness and general education programs.
    • Supports employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation and care management.
    • Other duties as needed/assigned.

     

    WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training, or Exercise Science or other related field required.
    • Board Certified Athletic Trainer (BOC) Certification and active state Athletic Training licensure for the state of Maine.
    • Current Adult CPR/AED/FA certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.
    • Work experience in a clinical environment (occupational therapy, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, nursing) preferred.
    • 2 years experience in athletic training required.
    • Understanding of Biomechanics, occupational safety and proficient in exercise prescription preferred.
    • Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

    • BA/BS required and/or one to three years of relevant experience.
    • An agile mindset and ability to adapt to ever-shifting priorities is critical.
    • Careful attention to details is necessary.
    • Ability to learn new skills, work independently, anticipate office needs, set priorities in consultation with others, and handle sensitive/confidential information is essential.
    • Broad knowledge of MS Office, WordPress, MS Power BI, Google Suite, MS Teams, e-marketing, Zoom, and other tools preferred.
    • Familiarity with Boston University, university systems and processes (procurement, enrollment, scheduling, Qualtrics, 25Live, etc.) helpful.
    • Ability to communicate with and plan events for diverse university-wide constituencies, including faculty, academic administrators, students, and alumni, desirable.
