    ASSIGNMENT NETWORK AVAILABLE - THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO INTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLY.

     

     

    This assignment network is an in-house networking process to facilitate matching opportunities and people for short-term and low-percentage assignments. We now have a new position available through the assignment network.

     

     

    PERCENTAGE TIME: 30-50%

    PROGRAM/DIVISION: AFRICA REGION

    LOCATION: ANYWHERE; BUT THE WORK WILL BE ON US TIME ZONES

    START DATE: IMMEDIATELY

    END DATE: SEPTEMBER 30, 2021

     

    SCOPE OF WORK

    • Serve as the primary point of administrative contact and liaison for the Chief of Africa (CAR).
    • Provide daily briefings to be delivered at the beginning of CAR’s day including meeting schedule, general notes and status updates.
    • Manage calendar and schedules, including prioritization, follow-up, and dissemination of information.
    • Handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately and discretely.
    • Organize and provide support for management and sub-management team meetings including agenda setting, attend meetings and take minutes for dissemination.
    • Prepare, draft, and review internal and external correspondence; ensure quality and accuracy of information.
    • Attend bi-weekly Africa Support meetings to sync with other Africa support staff such as the EA in Lusaka, the Operations Director and the Director of FP&A.
    • Maintain Africa Region SharePoint, management Teams channel and Africa distribution lists.
    • Collect and prepare information for posting to PATH’s intranet and external website.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    • 2-3 years directly related experience including responsibility for supporting a senior manager or director.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent computer skills using MS Office Suite and SharePoint
    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
    • Ability to effectively prioritize competing demands and adapt easily and quickly to changing priorities.
    • Collaborative working style with the ability to independently initiate and coordinate projects.
    • Ability to be diplomatic in communications with staff and external contacts.
    • Strong skills in drafting, editing and proofreading documents.
