• Position reports to Executive Director of Purchasing and Supply Chain. The role will serve as a support liaison between the department and Operators, Distributors and Home Office. Responsibilities will include to resolve distributor, restaurant, home office and other special projects as designated by direct report. Must be able to work well with cross-functional teams, have excellent written and verbal communication, ability to communicate accurately and effectively with distributors.  Manage Restaurant 365 and have knowledge of POS systems.

• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Executive Director of Purchasing and Supply Chain to execute projects as directed
  • Maintain accurate and timely GL Coding, Pricing, Updates/Changes for both food and beverage in Restaurant 365
  • Accurately analyze, maintain and audit distributor order guides and reports for content, velocity movement, and pricing discrepancies
  • Update and generate PMIX, Purchase, and Contract Service reports
  • Audit vendor pricing within order guides
  • Prepare quarterly business analytics reports in spend
  • Manage, track and resolve product quality concerns
  • Work with distributors on any discrepancies in pack sizes and pricing
  • Prepare written notifications to distributors, culinary and operators
  • Prepare periodic distribution update to purchasing, culinary and operators
  • Support execution of Culinary programs and new products
  • Stay current on food and beverage trends
  • Special Projects as designated by direct report

Required Experience

• QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma/GED. Prefer Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years of related purchasing and distribution experience, preferably in the restaurant/hospitality industry
  • Prior Purchasing, Operations, Marketing, and/or R&D experience a definite PLUS
