JOB DESCRIPTION

Located in Westminster, Maryland, Knorr Brake Company (KBC) is a manufacturer of Braking, Door, and HVAC systems for the Mass Transit Rail Industry. KBC is division of Knorr-Bremse, AG a Munich Germany based global leader in the design and manufacture of Brakes, Doors, HVAC, and on-Board OEM systems, aftermarket spare parts, overhaul & maintenance services for the Mass Transit Rail.

Major responsibilities of the position include the following:

1. Workplace Support

• Desktop and mobile device management and troubleshooting
• Microsoft AD administration
• Local IT applications and projects
• Documentation of processes

2. Technical Infrastructure

• Networking solutions
• Servers and operating systems

3. Business Applications

• Interface with business users and analyze business processes
• SAP and other application support and troubleshooting

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Current College student preferably studying Information Systems, Info Management Systems, and/or Computer Science.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Ability to complete two consecutive semesters or more (Spring/Summer/Fall)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, and PowerPoint preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized, motivated, and detail orientated

This is a paid internship.
