  • Responsibilities

    SUMMARY:  This position is responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems, documenting and calculating results accurately; taking corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product) and report results to management; any additional assignments requested. All team members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

    • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must possess skills to complete OSI paperwork
    • Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce
    • Good problem identification and problem solving skills
    • Ability to read and interpret product specifications
    • Must function well under stress; must have flexibility to work where and when needed.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    • Regularly required to stand and use hands to handle or feel raw material.
    • Regular exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme cold or hot temperature.
    • The job candidate must be dependable, detail-oriented, able to follow directions, able to work under minimal supervision
    • The candidate must be willing to work weekends and overtime hours.

  • Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Four-year college degree in market research, marketing, statistics, sociology, psychology, anthropology, or related field; combined with strong experience in research and study design.
    • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in consumer insights, market research, consulting or similar role.
    • Strong ability to conduct thorough data analysis and create comprehensive reporting that clearly and concisely tell a story (PowerPoint and Keynote).
    • Experience working on the supplier side
    • Experience moderating qualitative research
    • Experience using survey programming software a plus.
    • Interpersonal skills, able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, challenging work environment and a high level of responsiveness to others.
    • Organizational skills, detail-oriented and able to follow-through on assigned tasks.
    • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to deliver client reports and executive summaries that are well-written, thoughtful, and data-driven.
    • Ability to write clearly and concisely.
    • Ability to think and write creatively.
    • Ability to meet deadlines or deliver early.
    • Due to government contractual obligations, candidates must be US citizens.
    • Must be able to travel for research and client meetings.
    • Energetic, creative, and with a keen attention to detail.
