In your role as a Project Accountant, you will be busy reviewing and working with owner contracts preparing accurate, timely and monthly project billings.

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Tying out and posting Accounts Receivable
• Reviewing owner contracts and identifying contractual terms for billing purposes
• Preparing project billings in support of project team
• Reviewing and coding project related invoices including analyzing for proper sales tax and discounts
• Understanding subcontractors' insurance requirements and aiding the project team in monitoring and subcontractor insurance compliance
• Reviewing and collecting appropriate team waivers
• Monitoring and communicating with the project team on tracking Accounts Receivable

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in Project Accounting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Committed to upholding the highest professional work standards, confidentiality, and ethics
• Positive, can-do attitude; diplomacy and approachability

Preferred Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in Project Accounting specific to Construction or Manufacturing Industry
• 3 years of experience in Project Accounting
• Experience with ERP accounting applications commonly used in Construction (CMIC and/or Textura is an added plus)
