Reports To:
Applications Manager as well as the Director of North American Operations.
Job Purpose:
Assembly of a variety of switchgear test devices and accessories, including soldering of
connectors and electronic components, as well as thermoplastics. Improve upon existing
and create new procedures for production of assemblies.
Duties Include:
1. Production
• Performing a variety of manufacturing processes to convert raw materials into
finished products, including soldering, trimming, inspection, testing, measuring,
wire stripping, cutting, crimping, etc.
• Use hand tools and power tools, such as drills, hammers, wrenches, and screw
drivers.
• Execute precision soldering.
• Maintain safety protocols and guidelines in a production environment.
• Build up electronic assemblies or other electromechanical systems.
• Keep track of inventory.
• Maintain clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.
• Maintain quality control systems.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet standards.
• Prepare materials, package finished goods, and label products.
• Clean raw materials and finished parts using cleaning solutions and cloths.
• Receive materials, including use of hand trucks and pallet jack.
2. Documentation
• Maintain documentation of production, assembly, maintenance, and repairs of
all items.
• Maintain proper identification / labeling of parts through all process steps.
• Edit and improve upon existing procedures, as well as provide feedback to
improve documentation and procedure for processes.
• Meticulous record keeping of production, stock, inventory, and parts and partials
for all work, both digitally and physically.
• Report found defects, including document tracking defects, quality concerns or
issues, and safety concerns in writing to supervisors.
• Report safety concerns in production workspace.
