Job Description

**Salary: $50,000+ (based on experience)

40-hour work week (8:30am-5:00pm, M-F),**

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, capable individual to join our team in an inside sales capacity! This individual will help manage inbound sales inquiries from initial customer outreach through quote creation and follow-up. The ideal candidate would be someone who enjoys speaking with customers and solving problems. Due to the technical nature of our products, a strong technical background (fluid dynamics, piping/pumping products, etc.) is a plus, and a willingness to learn is a necessity. There are no cold calling or outbound sales requirements. We are a small team, looking for the right candidate who is interested in the opportunity for additional responsibility and advancement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Respond to inbound customer inquiries through email and telephone calls
• Gather information from customers to work with the engineering team on the design of custom products for customers
• Review customer supplied data and input into our in-house quoting software
• Manage and provide written quotations using our in-house quoting software
• Assist in configuring and recommending product designs to customers
• No travel required

EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years in a previous sales or sales engineering position. Industrial sales or similar experience preferred
• Experience in the process or piping industries, a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree required, technical or engineering degree a plus
