The Processor assists the Recruitment Department in processing driver applications and providing administrative support to the Recruiters and Department. The Recruiting Processor ensures that the administrative and operational side of recruiting flows efficiently.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a disciplined self-starter with excellent communication and time management skills. The individual in this position must work well as part of a team and act with urgency to meet deadlines. This is a fast-paced role working with individuals at all levels of the organization, including applicants, current drivers, vendors, and other departments. Experience in the transportation industry is highly preferred.

All candidates must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.

WHAT DOES THE JOB LOOK LIKE DAILY?

• Maintain department files
• Run all applicable reports required to complete a DOT background investigation
• Obtain all reference verifications
• Review all completed files for accuracy and thoroughness
• Arrange and communicate all inbound travel for new candidates to come to orientation
• Arrange and communicate all outbound travel for cleared drivers to go to the location of assigned truck
• Produce spreadsheets and various reports for the department Director
• Support Recruiters in all efforts related to the recruitment and retention of drivers
• Produce/maintain weekly ledger reports of orientation cash provided to drivers
• Reconcile/code all department bills and invoices and provide to Accounting in a timely manner
• Maintain effective relationships with all travel and lodging vendors
• Note all Hired and Terminated drivers in Tenstreet system
• Backup phone coverage for department
• Assist recruiters with any other needs that arise during daily work functions
• Provide payroll information for Driver Referrals
• Confirm proper documentation/support and re-reimburse drivers for travel expenses
• Travel arrangements for Director and recruiting employees, when necessary
• Respond to requests from other companies for Past Employment Verification
• Assist drivers whenever needed

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO THE JOB?

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in the Transportation industry preferred
• Office organizational skills and experience required. Ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment
• Computer skills and training required; specifically in Windows applications including Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization, candidates, and vendors
