SALARY: Starting at $70,000 (negotiable based on experience) + monthly incentives and annual profit share!

WHO ARE YOU?

The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for acting as a liaison for the Director of Dedicated Operations by assisting with billing, claims, mentoring & coaching, training, and act as a backup Dedicated Driver Manager. Must be willing to carry a company cell phone and laptop and take after hour calls as necessary.

WHAT DOES THIS JOB LOOK LIKE DAILY?

• Relationship building with all members of the dedicated trucking team from managers to drivers and coach driver managers in interactions with drivers.
• Investigate and respond to escalations from customer or driver issues.
• Assist with additional training for drivers and driver managers.
• Back up driver managers and/or operations managers who are on PTO, as well as during surge or peak seasons.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations-federal, state, local as well as those enforced by Koch Trucking.
• Monitor hours of service for each driver and ensure there are hours available to complete assignment.
• Coordinate with other departments to guarantee proper execution of processes, procedures, policies and/or laws.
• Monitor high value loads so that the exposure to loss is minimized.
• Provide recommendations regarding driver performance, driver evaluation, and driver discipline and/or driver termination.
• Assist with billing for dedicated customers.
• Additional duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred Education: Associate degree or greater in business, supply chain, or related field
• 5+ years of trucking industry experience with full knowledge of such items as drivers, driver management, driver mileage, driver home times, hours of service, driver pay, compliance with DOT regulations, brokered freight, freight lanes, freight rates, capacity, etc.
• Experience training, supervising, and coaching
• Effective communicator, both written and verbal.
• Ability to deescalate intense situations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated
• Effective time management skills
• High level of customer service skills
• Proficiency with MS Office software
