Job Description
We are currently seeking to hire a Sponsorship Sales Manager (REMOTE POSITION Open To All USA Applicants) to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing and developing a sales team to drive company revenue.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creating and managing a pipeline of prospects to grow the sponsorship client base. We serve companies that are looking for exposure through our virtual/in-person events, as well as customer introduction services.
- You will use various channels (email, social media, phone, web conference, etc) to help achieve sponsorship targets. You will research and target potential sponsors, arranging meetings with them to walk through our solutions and match their needs to one of our products
- You will join a small sponsorship team and be open to selling the entire pipeline of events. We have a short sales cycle with an individual in our current team achieving a minimum of 8 deals per month (base salary + uncapped commission)
- You will work closely with the event team who help design and implement our event portfolio - sharing your customer's expectations and helping ensure expectations are met
- This position requires responsibility for the full sales campaign, from research and prospecting, negotiating the sponsorship agreement, helping the sponsor prepare and deliver an in-person or virtual event, and following up for post-event feedback – building your book of business for repeat clients
- The ideal candidate will join the company running. As the company grows there will also be the option to move into a direct management position with the growth of a team.
EXPERIENCE
- 3+ YEARS IN A SPONSORSHIP SALES (CORPORATE EVENTS ONLY) ROLE
- OR 3+ YEARS IN A SAAS SALES ROLE
- STRONG PHONE-BASED/VIDEO CONFERENCE PRESENTATION SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE BEING INDEPENDENT TO ACHIEVE MONTHLY SALES TARGETS
- Account Management experience: This role requires you to manage the full sales cycle - search>prospect>customer
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong knowledge in the buy/sell market with a good understanding of potential solution providers for IT executives
- Target driven and money motivated
- Detail orientated & creative
- Fluent with technology with some familiarity with using CRM platforms
- Good understanding & quick to learn the value of the product
- Values long-term customer success
- Creates strong connections
BENEFITS & DETAIL
- Base salary of $50 - $55k annually (based on experience) plus commission. This should be a majority commission role with an annual OTE of $110k+. Minimum targets assure that if you work hard and smart, you will achieve a minimum of $110k+ per year (un-capped). We are looking for a money-motivated candidate and we will give you all the tools to ensure that you achieve it
