Responsibilities as a Hot Stamp Tech.:
- Strives to improve performance and productivity of the entire process.
- Troubleshoots equipment failures and problems, maintains production flow.
- Performs adjustments to processes and equipment to produce a product that meets company standards and customer requirements.
- Performs all duties and operates machinery & equipment according to MIOSHA standards and company procedures using required safety equipment (gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, etc).
- Reports equipment failures.
- Assists and instructs operators or other workers in machine setup and operation.
- Coordinate and pre-stage all necessary items for tooling and die change.
- Actively participates in tooling and die changeovers on hot stamp cells.
- Performs routine and preventative maintenance throughput on the automated cell utilizing a variety of hand tools.
