Under general supervision participate in monthly close, variance analysis and forecast preparation. Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly. Review cost elements of the jobs, and understand, be able to explain the variances from the estimates and forecast. Prepare various operational metrics that measure performance against key objectives and strategies.
This role is also responsible for providing support for costing various charges to jobs: freight, list processing, intercompany charges, ink etc
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assists in the monthly close. Duties include preparing journal entries, reconciling the balance sheet accounts and analyzing variances.
- Reviews and analyzes jobs, and recommends changes to job costing, and appropriate accruals
- Completes various operational metrics
- Prepares revenue support for monthly forecast
- Prepare Capital Forecast, and various capital analyses as needed
- Prepares other reports and assist in special projects and analysis as required or requested by supervisor.
- Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
Required Skills
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
- Able to demonstrate good problem-solving skills and appropriately apply proven solutions. Consistently deliver prescribed outcomes in a timely and accurate manner with appropriate guidance. Apply existing processes and procedures to solve problems and may receive guidance for problems that are non-routine.
- Able to apply general functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Office.
- SAP experience is preferred as well as ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people when completing work assignments.
