TRICONT TRUCKING COMPANY (A DEL MONTE FRESH PRODUCE COMPANY)

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This position will be responsible for delivering produce to customers in a timely and professional manner. In this role, will also ensure that all deliveries are made in full and payments are collected correctly.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

•  Make customer deliveries on the assigned routes in an efficient and effective manner, while adhering to all laws and safety requirements.
• Work with customers to facilitate a strong working relationship.
• Confirm that all counts are correct when deliveries are made, and all payments are correct if delivering to Cash on Delivery (COD) account.
• Deliver cash payments to the designated person to ensure proper safekeeping.
• Ensure that the following equipment is properly maintained: the oil level in the assigned truck, air pressure, and general cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Assist in the warehouse as needed, including but not limited to: repacking of fruit, re-stacking of cartons, operating pallet jacks and forklifts, general maintenance and cleaning duties.

MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED:

•  High School Diploma, or equivalent, from an accredited institution.
• The ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Class A license (Truck trailer or tractor-semi trailer combination, in which the combination weight exceeds 26,001 pounds, and the unit being towed exceeds 10,000 pounds).
• 1+ years of experience driving a tractor-semi trailer combination.
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Strong navigational skills.

PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:

•  Knowledge of working with produce.

Required Skills Required Experience

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

1. A four-year Bachelor’s Degree required
2. Minimum 5 years’ experience in business and systems analysis and digital technology
3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities
4. Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Ability to quickly learn and comprehend technical systems, a self-starter with minimal supervision
6. Knowledge and/or experience using Trello, Balsamiq, Slack, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools; experience working on an Agile Scrum team using tools like Jira with an emphasis on user testing and rapid iteration
7. Experience with UX/UI design
8. Ability to maintain open communication with all levels and to keep management apprised of issues and task/project status; experience in driving teams and management to decisions
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely articulate an issue and propose solutions
