  • Responsibilities

    PURPOSE OF POSITION:

     

    This position will be responsible to work with Sales and Traffic department to load and unload product and daily operational functions. In this role, will also perform the last quality check before the product is delivered to the customer and effectively manage inventory by maintaining proper rotation of product.

    ACCOUNTABILITIES:

     

    • Responsible for proper cycling and rotation of product by lot code and date received.
    • Process orders in a timely manner to meet and exceed established productivity levels. 
    • Verify customer specifications and quality requirements of product orders.
    • Load/unload trailer in accordance with company and safety guidelines. 
    • Maintain and update daily shipping reports (inbound/outbound load sheets).
    • Assist with other warehouse personnel as needed.

    MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED:

     

    • High School Diploma or equivalent, from an accredited institution. 
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook, etc.).
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication (i.e. written and oral).
    • Proficient with numbers and inventory.
    • Pallet jack and forklift experience.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for prolonged periods.

     

    PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:

     

    • Previous wholesale produce experience.
    • Bi-lingual: English and Spanish.

  • Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 4 -6 years’ work experience in regulatory healthcare operations compliance required
    • Thorough knowledge of State and/or Federal programs operations and regulations required
    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Access) required
    • Strong analytical skills required
    • Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships of trust with departmental staff and management required
    • Proven ability to coordinate and lead interdepartmental work teams and meet established goals required
    • Must be goal oriented and able to meet tight deadlines while handling multiple priorities required
    • Must be a team player and able to take direction from multiple sources required
    • Must be highly organized, able to handle multiple assignments with overlapping deadlines. Must have the ability to show attention to detail required
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) required. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with ConnectiCare/EmblemHealth staff and management required
    • Ability to arrange work schedule to meet deadlines from multiple sources, and engage staff throughout ConnectiCare /EmblemHealth to assist in the completion of duties required

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • May be required to sit for long periods of time.
    • Must be able to use standard office equipment.
