Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our development team in our Mandeville, Louisiana office. In this role, you will use best practices to test and validate software and coordinate with developers and product managers in the creation, design, testing, and maintenance of our growing suite of products. We are looking for someone who is energized by working closely with the team to produce exceptional results. In this position you will use a mindset that you represent the customer as well as the company and strive to make sure that software is thoroughly tested prior to being released to the public. This will involve reviewing logs, writing test harnesses, black box and grey box testing, UI testing using manual and automated methods, and documenting testing and results.

This position is located in our Mandeville, Louisiana office.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

• Create acceptance test criteria.
• Utilize regression/smoke testing on all new builds of the MVL suite of software, prior to scheduled training dates.
• Analyze and investigate product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain existing software.
• Monitor user feedback to recommend improvements to software.
• Compile documentation regarding release notes to keep the users, support, training and sales team informed about updates.
• Maintain proper documentation on the fragments of software including “ticket numbers” using rem statements.
• Monitor the incoming tasks via Jira, DevOps, and Teams.
• Attend regular scrum meetings to communicate progress with stakeholders and other team-members.
• Announce any blockers that may hold up a project and escalate when needed.
• Assist operations and local quality function in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels.
• Communicate with other team members on changes that may impact them.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 years Java and/or c#, SQL Server, Azure Development, and Web Technologies.
• Knowledge of SDLC.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience desired
• Experience with test case development.
• Automation for web apps/services desired
• Familiarity with setup and configuration of a TCP/IP network test environment
• Familiarity with SSL/TLS, certificates, keystores
• Highly proficient computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Possess superior troubleshooting skills.

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Microsoft certifications a plus.
• Previous experience in Agile and Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of XML constructs and ability to read and understand raw XML desired
