We are seeking a Sales Operations Manager with 3+ years of relevant experience to support and partnering with the commercial team to drive client growth and support the overall sales goals of the company. A successful candidate will have experience with technology and service solutions in life sciences clinical trials.
The role is part of Koneksa’s Commercial organization with presence on both East and West US coasts, and preferably located in the New York area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works closely with across commercial, scientific, operations, and data science organizations to gain alignment, understand the full scope of services and company differentiators to create effective and appropriate content to support sales success, including sales proposals, statements of work, RFP/RFI responses and change orders for Koneksa software product and professional services.
- Supports the sales team in the development of proposals that meet technical and deadline requirements, while achieving content updates, review and timely completion.
- Participate in business development project hand-off meetings.
- Research and contact new Sales Qualified Leads.
- Support opportunity management for RFP requests from channel partners.
- Facilitates development and ensures best practices are incorporated in all submissions, through exceptional organizational and project management skills, including proposal development lifecycle.
- Maintain sales pipeline and forecasts using internal sales tools, through collaboration and self-directed capabilities.
- Participate in ongoing sales and business development cycles.
SKILLS/BACKGROUND:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience, preferably in companies related to digital healthcare solutions, and/or pharmaceutical, biotechnology research and clinical trials industries, developing proposals for commercial institutions (and government contracts).
- Proven experience integrates knowledge from diverse sources (e.g. literature searches, SMEs, and relevant company experience) to develop concise content and address effectively the target audience.
- Comfort working in a high-stakes, regulated environment that requires high attention to detail, adaptability and outstanding organizational skills, to ensures proposals comply with RFI/RFP requirement, clinical trial protocols/synopses (when available), and meeting expected deadlines
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, focused on a high client-service orientation that balance assertiveness with adaptability to partner with different levels of critical stakeholders (Sr. Leaders, peers, clients)
- Motivation to work in a fast-paced, growing environment, led by an exceptional Senior Team, that values diversity, science, transformative technology and innovation.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- BA or equivalent + 3 years related experience in business or related field
- Intermediate to advanced expertise with both Microsoft and Google Suite tools and programs, especially Word/Docs and Excel/Sheets
- Life science industry and work management, a plus
