Konik is partnered with a class ii medical device company with an immediate need for a senior mechanical engineer to be responsible for the mechanical engineering of their product from concept design, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, working with overseas contract manufacturing partners, quality and sustaining of the product, and improvements to the manufacturing process after product launch. The engineer in this role excels in a collaborative and fluid work environment with changing priorities throughout the day. The engineer in this role will also give presentations on project statuses.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of design engineering a highly regulated (medical, defense, or aerospace) product from concept through manufacturing, to include quality, and after product launch
• B.S. Mechanical Engineering degree
• Comfortable presenting information to a group and fielding questions

*After the engineer is trained, there is the opportunity to work two days/week from home.
