Chief Inspector, FAA

Minneapolis, MN| Direct Hire | $70,000 - $120,000

Konik partnered with an engineering company providing parts to aviation companies. They need a Chief Inspector experienced in inspecting or repairing parts while maintaining compliance with FAA Part 145 and AS9110 requirements. This team works hard, plays hard, and solves problems as a team.

Job Title Responsibilities:

• Manages the repair station manual
• Ensures all repairs and inspections are done in compliance with the regulatory bodies’ requirements
• Hands-on inspection of parts
• Ensure the staff are up-to-date on required training
• Quality auditing

Job Title Requirements:

• 3+ years of aviation part inspection
• The following certifications are preferred:
  • Repairman Certificate (if not a current holder, must be obtained within six months of starting with the company)
  • Will be required to pass J-STD, IPC-A-610 and IPC-WHMA-A-620 certification

This is a US ITAR facility – Applicants must be US citizens or permanent legal residents.
