Truss Designer

Rosemount, MN | Direct Hire | $55k-$85k

Konik is partnered with a leading multi-family construction firm in the Rosemount, MN, area that is adding a Truss Designer to their team. You'll be responsible for designing components and placement plans for commercial and multi-family projects.

Truss Designer Responsibilities:

• Evaluates designs to ensure that design standards are being met.
• Completes and finalizes designs for production and assembly.
• Reviews and analyzes specifications, construction documents, engineered drawings and related designs to determine factors affecting design of the wall, truss and engineered wood components.
• Clearly communicate design concerns and issues to reach a design solution
• Communicates with production teams, Plant Manager and others as needed to ensure designs are accurate throughout the process.

Truss Designer Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience designing trusses for multi-family projects
• Knowledgeable in the basic aspects of construction
• Understanding of processes: RFI, Submittals, Production Files
• Previous experience using MiTek truss design software
• Knowledge and experience in utilizing AutoCAD
• Knowledgeable in reading architectural and structural plans
