Construction Estimator

St. Paul, MN | Direct Hire | $55k-$80k

Konik is partnering with a leader in the Retail and Commercial construction industry located in the Minneapolis metro area that is seeking to add an Estimator to their team. With services including construction management, fast-track building, design-build, and general contracting, our client specializes in meeting the demands of the Retail Construction industry.
Construction Estimator Responsibilities:

• Perform quantity take-offs for projects
• Prepare scope narratives, clarifications, and qualifications and effectively communicate to internal and external teams
• Review drawings for constructability concerns and communicate with clients, engineers, and architects
• Review preliminary and contract drawings, shop drawings, specifications, safety programs, and quality assurance programs to fully understand construction criteria
• Contribute to the development of the project schedule
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with the team and company personnel
• Occasionally assist with pre-bid walk-throughs of sites

Estimator Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or similar preferred
• 0-3+ years of estimating experience in a general contractor setting; experience estimating on retail projects a plus. College grads are encouraged to apply. 
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
