Product Manager, Marketing

Konik partnered with a Twin Cities manufacturing company that makes components for the automotive industry that is adding a marketing product manager with a strong technical or mechanical engineering background. This is a unique opportunity to create the company’s product management program for the assigned vertical. This product manager researches and determines product life cycle trends, strategies, the voice of the customer, product pricing, and competitive analysis to maximize revenue and generate profit.
Job Title Responsibilities:
- Work with multiple divisions throughout the company to build and market global product platforms
- Own the product programs from beta testing through market launch and product improvements
- Determine pricing
- Lead the product’s cross-functional teams to success
- Conduct voice of customer surveys and use the acquired information to make decisions about product designs and roadmaps
- Along with marketing, develop go-to-market strategies for launches and develop needed collateral and training materials, then conduct training as needed
Job Title Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, Mechanical Engineering
- Six or more years of product management experience of a mechanical product/program
- Solid capability in pricing, product development and teamwork
- Previous global product management experience and demonstrated global P&L experience
