    Construction Safety Manager

    Blaine, MN | Direct Hire | $80k

    As a Construction Safety Manager, you will ensure the safety and well-being of all personnel on construction sites. You will develop and implement safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and provide training to employees to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, you will investigate incidents, identify hazards, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks. Your role will be pivotal in promoting a safety culture and preventing accidents on job sites.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of construction sites to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
    • Provide safety training and orientations to all personnel, including subcontractors and visitors.
    • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
    • Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to address safety concerns and ensure safety measures are integrated into project plans.
    • Maintain safety records, including incident reports, inspection findings, and training documentation.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to improve safety programs continuously.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
    • Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety, Construction Health and Safety Technician) preferred.
    • Proven experience as a safety manager or similar role in the construction industry.
    • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software preferred.
