Lead Architect

Minneapolis, MN - Hybrid | Direct Hire | $90k – $110k

Konik is partnering with a full-service design firm seeking to add a Lead Architect to their architectural team. In this role, you will review project specifications and drawings for quality and code compliance while giving your expertise in design and details. You will also mentor more junior staff. Projects are within Workplace and Healthcare sectors.

What you will do as a Project Architect:

• Review and sign off on drawing sets for architectural interior projects
• Oversees completion of construction document sets and specifications
• Code and quality review of drawings
• Guides and mentors more junior staff
• Coordination with engineering consultants, contractors, and job superintendents
• Attends construction site meetings 

Project Architect Requirements:

• Professional Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
• Licensed Architect in Minnesota
• 10+ years of industry experience working on commercial building projects
• Strong construction & building knowledge with a thorough knowledge of building codes
• Previous experience signing off on drawings is preferred
• Workplace and/or healthcare project experience
• Experience with Revit is preferred
