    Architectural Project Manager (Federal)

    Direct Hire – Hybrid or Remote | Minneapolis, MN | $110,000 – $125,000

    Konik is partnering with a leading full-service Architecture and Interior Design firm currently hiring for an Architectural Project Manager for Federal Department of Defense project work. The Project Manager will manage projects all over the US and lead a team delivering quality designs and effective solutions for a variety of projects.

     

    Architectural Project Manager Responsibilities:

    • Manages projects of varying sizes and complexities.
    • Understands contracts, budgets, project scope, and schedule and develops a work plan
    • Manages project design staff and maintains project status reports
    • Able to research and implement policies and procedures, UFC’s, guidance documents, regulations, design guides, etc.
    • Project delivery, communications with Studio Principal, project team, and accounting
    • Participation in architectural design and technical details as required
    • Scheduling and coordinating quality control reviews and documentation
    • Communicates with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients
    • Responds to RFI’s, plan review comments, and construction submittals
    • Perform observations during project construction
    • Building/expanding client relationships in support of project delivery
    • Travel to project sites and client meetings as required

    Your background:

    • Professional Degree in Architecture; Registered Architectural license in U.S. required
    • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
    • Minimum 10-12 years of professional experience in an architectural or A/E firm
    • Previous experience as an Architectural Project Manager or Project Architect with federal project work required, USACE Districts and NAVFAC Divisions highly preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to travel 25% to project sites and meetings
