Senior Mechanical Engineer

Konik is partnered with an Engineering Consultant Company that is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a background in HVAC design and engineering due to growth.  They are an employee-owned company that offers a flexible hybrid schedule. You will play a significant role in project reviews, design decisions, review of junior staff, and more. You will get to work on a mix of project types that involve HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.

Senior Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:

• Makes major design recommendations and design decisions with little input from senior staff
• Plans design work by discipline for all project sizes
• Reviews correspondence prepared by junior staff
• Quality control of projects
  

Senior Mechanical Engineer Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; senior designer candidates will be considered as well
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or actively working towards license preferred, but not required
• 9+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience
• Experience in HVAC is required; additional experience with plumbing and fire protection is beneficial
• Proficient in Revit
