Mechanical Field Service Technician

Minneapolis, MN | Direct Hire | $80k - $90k

We seek an experienced automation mechanical technician to perform field service work domestically for installations, upgrades, and preventative maintenance on equipment.

Mechanical Field Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform electromechanical installations, troubleshooting, repair of automated equipment
• Execute planned and preventative maintenance work
• Make recommendations for spare parts
• Tuning of automated equipment and processes
• Train operators and maintenance
• Maintain good documentation and provide customer reports
• Receive direct calls from customers regarding service-related issues
• Good communication skills are a must

Mechanical Field Service Technician Requirements:

• Associate or Technical Diploma in Automation preferred or equivalent industry experience
• Travel up to 75% and availability for occasional weekend work
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics
• Ability to work in a customer's facility while positively impacting that relationship
• Strong logic and technical reasoning skills
• Must have an excellent driving record and have a valid driver's license
