Electrical CAD Designer

Minneapolis, MN | Direct Hire | $60,000 - $80,000

3:2 Hybrid work schedule

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Designer specializing in control panels.

Electrical CAD Designer Responsibilities:

• Produce electrical layouts in AutoCAD Electrical
• Maintain standards and design methods with a high level of detail
• Utilize knowledge of CAD software to complete drawings
• Draft finished designs from engineer’s sketches or from other engineering documentation
• Working together with hardware design engineers and panel shop technicians to finish projects in accordance with business and client standards.

Electrical CAD Designer Qualifications:

• 2 years of technical training in the electrical or design disciplines.
• Understanding of simple electrical circuits.
• Expertise with AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN electrical design.
• Relevant work experience in panel design or controls.
• Experience and knowledge of NFPA 70 and UL 508a (NEC).
