WHAT YOU WILL DO (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

·         Decide the projected time frame needed to complete a project and additional factors like labor needs, materials, budgets, and potential setbacks. 

·         Work closely with operations personnel, vendors, consultants, department heads, and accountants to provide the most accurate and comprehensive financial and budget analysis. 

·         Use computer software to weigh production risks or compile reports. 

·         Read and interpret CAD drawings and blueprints, and analyze documents, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project.

·         Determine what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or project.

·         Create labor estimates for any project.

·         Identify deficiencies in drawings and generate pricing to cover for them. 

·         Use bid data to prepare a detailed cost analysis.

·         Compile and record actual costs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

·         Bachelor's degree in math, finance, accounting, statistics, engineering management, project management or a related field.

·         5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

·         Ability to read and interpret technical documents. 

·         Proficiency in mathematics, statistics, data analysis, writing reports, and strategic planning. 

·         Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

·         Expertise with analytic tools, such as spreadsheets and database managers. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

·         Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

·         Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

The pay range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications.
