We are seeking Korean Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to join our USCIS contract team. This role involves delivering real-time telephonic interpretation between Korean and English in immigration and government proceedings.

Responsibilities

Provide accurate, impartial Korean ↔ English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official processes.

Maintain strict confidentiality and neutrality.

Adhere to USCIS and DHS compliance standards at all times.

Manage scheduled assignments as well as urgent interpretation requests.

Participate in training sessions and quality assurance reviews.

Qualifications

Native or near-native proficiency in Korean and English.

2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, government, or healthcare preferred).

Knowledge of interpreter ethics and confidentiality standards (NCIHC, ATA).

Strong communication skills and ability to remain accurate under pressure.

Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 federal clearance.
